The University of California and the California Community Colleges announced plans to enhance transfer admission guarantees for academically prepared students.

The Claremont Colleges—Pomona, Pitzer, Scripps, Claremont McKenna and Harvey Mudd—announced admission results for the Class of 2022.  

• Pomona reported 7 percent of total applicants were admitted this year. Early and regular decision admission rates were not provided.

• Scripps reported 24.1 percent of total applicants were admitted to the Class of 2022.  The admission rate for early decision applicants was 32 percent versus 23 percent for regular decision.

• Pitzer reported an overall admission rate of 13.2 percent for the Class of 2022.  The early decision admission rate was 34.4 percent versus 11.3 percent for regular decision.

• Claremont McKenna admitted 8.9 percent of applicants to the Class of 2022.  Early and regular decision admission rates were not provided.

• Harvey Mudd admitted 14.5 percent of applicants to the Class of 2022.  The early decision admit rate was 18.9 percent while the regular decision admission rate was 13.9 percent.

Macalester College announced that it admitted 41 percent of applicants to the Class of 2022.  

In total, 5,985 applications were received for early and regular decision.

The College of William & Mary announced it admitted approximately 36 percent applicants to the Class of 2022.  

A total of 14,640 applications were received.  The target size for the Class of 2021 is 1,530 students.

A total of 6,240 applications were received, up 10 percent from the previous year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 20.8 percent.

Wesleyan University announced it admitted 17.5 percent of applicants to the Class of 2022.  

A total of 12,788 applications were received, up 2 percent from the previous year.

The targeted class size is 780.

The University of Notre Dame announced that 3,586 applicants were admitted to the Class of 2022.  

A total of 20,370 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 17.6 percent. Total applications were up 4 percent over the previous year.

A total of 21,101 applications were received this year, up 2 percent.

Amherst College announced that it admitted 12.8 percent of applicants to the Class of 2022. 

1,244 students were admitted from a pool of 9,722 applicants, inclusive of early decision.  Amherst is targeting an incoming class of 460-485 students.

Oxford College at Emory announced today it admitted 4,144 applicants to the Class of 2022.

58 percent of the 27,982 applications to Emory were also to Oxford College, resulting in an overall admit rate of approximately 26 percent.

A total of 27,982 applications were received for the year, up 16 percent from the previous year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 18.5 percent.

A total of 47,450 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 4.3 percent.

Vanderbilt University reported that it admitted 2,199 applicants to the Class of 2022 under regular decision.

A total of 30,146 regular decision applications were received, resulting in a regular decision admission rate of 7.3 percent.

Dartmouth accepted 1,925 applicants to the Class of 2022.  

The total number of applicants totaled 22,033 for the year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 8.7 percent.
