The Massachusetts Institute of Technology announced today that it admitted a total of 697 early action applicants to the Class of 2026.  

A total of 14,781 applications were submitted this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 4.7 percent.

The University of Notre Dame announced it admitted 1,675 restrictive early action applicants to the Class of 2026.  

A total of 9,683 early applications were received, resulting in an overall admission rate of 17 percent.

Early decision applications totaled 7,795,  resulting in an admission rate of 16 percent.

Harvard announced today that it admitted 740 applicants to the Class of 2026 under restrictive early action.  

A total of 9,406 early applications were received, down 6.7 percent year over year, resulting in an early admission rate of 7.49 percent.

Emory University admitted 804 Early Decision I applicants to the Class of 2026. 673 were admitted solely to Emory College, 325 solely to Oxford College and 194 to both.

A total of 2,205 early decision 1 applications were received for admittance to Emory College, Oxford College at Emory or both.

Duke announced today that it admitted 855 students via early decision (including QuestBridge scholars) to the Class of 2026.

A total of 4,015 applications were received, resulting in an early decision rate of 21 percent.

Vanderbilt University reported that it admitted 24.1 percent of early decision applicants to the Class of 2026.

Around 650 students were admitted from a pool of 2,700 early decision applications.

Yale announced today that it admitted 800 applicants to the Class of 2026 under Single Choice Early Action.

A total of 7,288 early action applications were received, resulting in an early admission rate of 10.9 percent.  31 percent of applicants were deferred, 57 percent were denied, and 1 percent were withdrawn or incomplete.

Barnard announced today that it admitted 29 percent of early decision applicants to the Class of 2026.  

A total of 1,501 early decision applications were received, up 17 percent year over year.  Early decision admits are expected to represent 62 percent of the incoming class size of 700.

Dartmouth accepted 530 applicants to the Class of 2026 under early decision.  

Early decision applicants totaled 2,633, resulting in an acceptance rate of 20 percent.

Dartmouth anticipates a targeted class of 1,150.

Georgia Tech announced that it admitted 2,399 Early Action 1 applicants to the Class of 2026.  Early Action 1 is for Georgia residents only.  

Early Action 1 applications totaled nearly 6,100, resulting in an admission rate of 39 percent.

The University of Virginia announced today that it admitted 1,097 early decision applicants to the Class of 2026.  

A total of 3,466 early decision applications were received, up 18 percent year over year, resulting in an overall early admission rate of 32 percent.  The resident admit rate was 38 percent versus 25 percent for non-residents.
