Dartmouth Admits 547 Early Decision Applicants to the Class of 2024

dartmouth logoDartmouth accepted 547 applicants (including 21 matched through QuestBridge) to the Class of 2023 under early decision.  

The total number of early admission applicants fell to 2,069 this year, down 16 percent.  This resulted in an early admission rate of 26 percent.

Dartmouth anticipates these early admits will account for 46 percent of this year's targeted class of 1,150.

University of Pennsylvania Admits 1,269 Early Decision Applicants to Class of 2024

Early decision applications totaled 6,453, resulting in an admission rate of 20 percent.

Cornell Admits 1,576 Early Decision Applicants to the Class of 2024

Early decision applicants totaled 6,615, resulting in an admisison rate of 23.8 percent.

Legacy students made up 22.1 percent of early admits and athletes made up 12.1 percent.

A total of 49,118 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admit rate of 10.6 percent. An additional 4,948 students were offered a place on the waitlist.

University of Pennsylvania Admits 3,345 Applicants to the Class of 2023

A total of 44,960 applications were received, resulting in an overall admit rate of 7.4 percent.

The targeted size of the Class of 2023 is 2,400 students.

Princeton Admits 1,895 Applicants to the Class of 2023

Applications totaled 32,804, resulting in an overall admission rate of 5.8 percent.  An additional 902 candidates were offered a place on the waitlist.

The target size for the class is anticipated to be 1,296 students.

Dartmouth Admits 549 Early Decision Applicants to the Class of 2023

The total number of early admission applicants grew to 2,474 this year, up 9 percent.  This resulted in an early admission rate of 23 percent.

Dartmouth anticipates these early admits will account for 48 percent of this year's class.
