Brown accepted 695 applicants to the Class of 2021 under early decision.  

The total number of early decision applicants was 3,170 this year, resulting in an early admission rate of 22%.

Cornell accepted 25.6 percent of applicants to the Class of 2021 under early decision.  

The total number of early decision applicants grew 10 percent to 5,384.

Legacy students made up 23.3 percent of early admits and athletes made up 13.4 percent.

Barnard announced a 19 percent increase in early decision applicants for Class of 2021.  

Overall, 934 applications were received for the year compared to 787 for the Class of 2020.

Harvard announced earlier today that it admitted 938 applicants to the Class of 2021 under restrictive early action.  

With the total pool of early applicants up 4.5 percent from the previous year, the early admission rate fell slightly to 14.5 percent compared to 16.5 percent for the Class of 2020.

Wesleyan University announced it received 742 early decision I applications for the Class of 2021, up more than 16 percent from the previous year. Actual admission results were not provided.

Williams admitted 257 applicants to the Class of 2021 under early decision.  

Early decision applications grew 25 percent from the previous year to 728, resulting in an early admission rate of 35%.

Early decision admits will comprise 47 percent of this year's class.

Columbia University announced it received 4,086 early decision applications for the Class of 2020, up 16 percent from the previous year.  The actual admission results were not provided.

The University of Notre Dame announced today that it admitted 1,470 restrictive early action applicants to the Class of 2020.  

A total of 6,020 early action applications were received this year, resulting in an early admission rate of 24%.  Total early action applications were up 10% over the previous year.

In a break from tradition, the Stanford Daily reported today that early admission results for the Class of 2021 will not be disclosed until the end of the admission cycle. 

Last year, a total of 43,997 applications were received and 2,063 were admitted, resulting in an overall admission rate of 4.7 percent.

The University of Pennsylvania admitted 1,354 early decision applicants to the Class of 2020.  

Early decision applications rose 7 percent from the previous year to 6,147, resulting in an admission rate of 22 percent.
