And they’re all amazing programs. Yikes, you thought the application process was hard, now you have to decide between Northwestern, UCLA and UC Berkeley like our student Tim? Not an easy task, but a very admirable position to be in. Where do you start? Our advice is always, above all, without a doubt, go to the BEST college you get accepted to. But what if you get accepted into two equally great universities that are both in the same “tier” of excellence?

Amherst College Admits 13.7 Percent to the Class of 2020

Amherst logo.svgAmherst College announced today that it admitted 13.7 percent of applicants to the Class of 2020. 

1,149 students were admitted from 8,397 applicants, inclusive of early decision.  Amherst is targeting an incoming class of 472 students.

Emory College Admits 4,927 Applicants to the Class of 2020

A total of 19,924 applications were received for the year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 25 percent.

Oxford College Admits 3,282 Applicants to the Class of 2020

A total of 8,644 applications were received for the year, resulting in an overall admit rate of 38 percent.

Notre Dame Admits 3,665 Applicants to the Class of 2020

notredame logoThe University of Notre Dame announced today that it admitted 3,665 applicants to the Class of 2020.  

A total of 19,499 applications were received this year, up 7 percent from last year, resulting in an overall admit rate of 19 percent.  

The targeted class size is 2,040 students.

Georgetown Admits 3,276 Regular Decision Applicants to the Class of 2020

A total of 20,002 regular decision applications were received this year, resulting in an regular decision admit rate of 16.4 percent.

Harvard Admits 2,037 Applicants to the Class of 2020

harvardHarvard announced it admitted 2,037 applicants to the Class of 2020.  

39,041 applications were received, up 4.6 percent from last year, resulting in an overall admit rate of 5.2 percent.

Kenyon Welcomes 1,688 Applicants to the Class of 2020

Approximately 6,400 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 26 percent.  

The target size for the class is expected to be approximately 475 students.

Yale Admits 1,972 Applicants to the Class of 2020

yaleYale announced today that it admitted 1,972 applicants to the Class of 2020.

A total of 31,455 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 6.3 percent.  An additional 1,095 students were offered a place on the waitlist.

Dartmouth Admits 2,176 Applicants to the Class of 2020

The total number of applicants totaled 20,675 for the year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 10.5 percent.

Applications totaled 32,380 for the year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 9 percent.  An additional 1,000 students were waitlisted.

The target size for the class is expected to be 1,665.
