The University of Pennsylvania announced today that it admitted 3,404 applicants to the Class of 2024.  

A total of 42,205 applications were received, resulting in an overall admit rate of 8 percent.

The targeted size of the Class of 2024 is 2,400 students.

Boston University announced that it admitted 18.5 percent of applicants to the Class of 2024.  

Overall, 61,006 applications were received for a targeted class size of 3,100.

Barnard announced today that it admitted 1,022 applicants to the Class of 2024.  

A total of 9,411 applications were received for the year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 11 percent.

Wellesley announced yesterday that it admitted 19 percent of applicants to the Class of 2024.  

A total of 6,627 applications were received, up 2 percent from the previous year.

The College Board announced today that it is actively developing a new at-home Advanced Placement test option in light of the coronavirus outbreak.

• For the 2019-20 exam season only, students will be able to take a 45 minute exam at home
• Two different testing dates will be made available for each AP subject

The University of Virginia announced today that it admitted 8,420 applicants to the Class of 2024.  

A total of 40,839 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 21 percent.    The admission rate for residents was 33 percent vs out-of-state at 15 percent.

Georgia Tech announced today that it admitted 20 percent of regular decision applicants to the Class of 2024.  

Admittances were drawn from a total pool of approximately 23,000 regular decision applicants.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology announced today that it admitted a total of 1,457 applicants to the Class of 2024.  

A total of 20,075 applications were submitted this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 7 percent.

Johns Hopkins announced today that it admitted 1,922 applicants to the Class of 2024 under regular decision.  

A total of 2,604 early and regular decision applicants were admitted from a total pool of approximately 29,655 applicants, resulting in an overall admission rate of 9 percent.

The University of Virginia announced today that it admitted 5,219 early action applicants to the Class of 2024.  

A total of 25,160 early action applications were received, resulting in an overall early admission rate of 26 percent.  35 percent of in-state applicants were admitted compared to 15 percent of out-of-state applicants.
