Yale Admits 2,304 Applicants to the Class of 2024

yaleYale announced today that it admitted 2,304 applicants to the Class of 2024.

A total of 35,220 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 6.5 percent.

Princeton Admits 1,823 Applicants to the Class of 2024

princeton logoPrinceton University announced today it admitted 1,823 students to the Class of 2024.  

Applications totaled 32,836, resulting in an overall admission rate of 5.8 percent.  

The target size for the class is anticipated to be 1,296 students.

Harvard Admits 1,980 Applicants to the Class of 2024

harvardHarvard announced it admitted 1,980 applicants to the Class of 2024.  

A total of 40,248 applications were received, resulting in an overall admit rate of 4.9 percent.

Duke Admits 2,170 Regular Decision Applicants to Class of 2024

duke logoDuke announced today that 2,170 applicants were admitted to the Class of 2024 under regular decision.  36,252 students applied under regular decision, resulting in a regular decision admission rate of 6 percent.

Overall, 3,057 students were admitted from a pool of 39,783 early and regular decision applicants, resulting in an overall admit rate of approximately 8 percent.

Oxford College at Emory Admits 3,531 Regular Decision Applicants to the Class of 2024

University of Pennsylvania Admits 3,404 Applicants to the Class of 2024

upenn logoThe University of Pennsylvania announced today that it admitted 3,404 applicants to the Class of 2024.  

A total of 42,205 applications were received, resulting in an overall admit rate of 8 percent.

The targeted size of the Class of 2024 is 2,400 students.

Boston University Admits 18.5 Percent of Applicants to Class of 2024

Overall, 61,006 applications were received for a targeted class size of 3,100.

Barnard Admits 1,022 Applicants to the Class of 2024

Wellesley Admits 19 Percent of Applicants to Class of 2024

A total of 6,627 applications were received, up 2 percent from the previous year.

College Board Announces Plan to Offer At-Home AP Testing for 2019-20

downloadThe College Board announced today that it is actively developing a new at-home Advanced Placement test option in light of the coronavirus outbreak.

  • For the 2019-20 exam season only, students will be able to take a 45 minute exam at home
  • Two different testing dates will be made available for each AP subject

University of Virginia Admits 8,420 Applicants to the Class of 2024

uva logoThe University of Virginia announced today that it admitted 8,420 applicants to the Class of 2024.  

A total of 40,839 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 21 percent.    The admission rate for residents was 33 percent vs out-of-state at 15 percent.

Georgia Tech Admits 20 Percent of Regular Decision Applicants to the Class of 2024
