Barnard Admits 8 Percent of Applicants to the Class of 2026

barnard logoBarnard announced today that it admitted 8 percent of applicants to the Class of 2026.  

A total of 12,009 applications were received, up 16 percent from last year.  The targeted class size is 710.

Tufts Admits 9 Percent of Applicants to the Class of 2026

tuftsTufts announced that 9 percent of applicants were admitted to the Class of 2026.

A total of 34,880 applications were received this year, up nearly 12 percent over last year.

Vanderbilt Admits 4.7 Percent of Regular Decision Applicants to the Class of 2026

vanderbilt logoVanderbilt University reported it admitted 4.7 percent of regular decision applicants to the Class of 2025.

A total of 1,964 regular decision applicants were admitted from a pool of 41,610.

Rice Accepts 2,691 Applicants to the Class of 2026

Rice logoRice University announced today that it admitted 2,691 applicants to the Class of 2026.  

A total of 31,424 applications were received, up 6 percent for the year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 9 percent.

Bowdoin College Admits 843 Applicants to the Class of 2026

Results are now available for Amherst College, Boston College, Bucknell, Case Western, Colby, Colorado College, Florida State, Fordham,  Franklin & Marshall, Johns Hopkins, Macalester, MIT, Northeastern, Notre Dame, Swarthmore, University of Georgia, University of Southern California, University of Virginia, Wellesley and Williams.  Latest year application totals are available for many more.

Notre Dame Admits 3,412 applicants to the Class of 2026

A total of 26,506 applications were received, resulting in an overall admission rate of 13 percent.

Swarthmore Admits 1,021 Applicants to the Class of 2026

Swarthmore College LogoSwarthmore announced today that it admitted 1,021 applicants to the Class of 2026.  

Over 14,700 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 7 percent.

Swarthmore anticipates an entering class size of 420 students.

Colby College Admits 1,258 Applicants to the Class of 2026

A total of 16,891 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 7 percent.

University of Virginia Admits 9,522 Applicants to the Class of 2026

uva logoThe University of Virginia announced today that it admitted 9,522 applicants to the Class of 2026.  

A total of 50,962 applications were received, up 6 percent year over year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 19 percent.  The admission rate for residents was 28 percent vs out-of-state at 15 percent.

University of Georgia Admits 16,600 Applicants to the Class of 2026

A total of 39,615 applications were received, resulting in an overall admission rate of 42 percent.

Johns Hopkins Admits 1,586 Regular Decision Applicants to Class of 2026

Approximately 31,500 regular decision applications were received, resulting in an regular decision admission rate of 5 percent.

MIT Admits 1,337 Applicants to the Class of 2026

A total of 33,796 applications were submitted this year, up 2 percent year over year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 4 percent.
